1. St. Michael’s Cathedral: Russian Orthodox Church: Replica of 1844 built church
2.Fortress of the Bear: This nonprofit organization rescues orphaned bears from certain death.
3.Alaska Raptor Center: Hospital and rehabilitation center for injured or sick Bald Eagles and other birds of prey.
4.Sitka National Historic Park/Totem Park: Walk amongst the towering totems in Alaska’s oldest National Park.
5.Sheldon Jackson Museum: Alaska’s oldest museum houses an amazing collection of Native American (Tlingit) artifacts.
6.Russian Bishop’s House: One of the last surviving examples of Russian architecture in North America. Building built in 1844.
7.Baranof Castle/Castle Hill: This is the site where the Alaska Purchase took place on October 18, 1867.
8.Sitka Sound Science Center: Great place to take kids.
